Empathy Builder Scenario 2 Animated Reel

Aarav can’t sit still during story time. To most, his restless swaying and wandering eyes look like a distraction – a sign that he is completely tuned out. But what if his constant movement isn’t a way to avoid the story, but his unique way of processing it?

While the rest of the classroom sits in heavy silence, Aarav finds his focus in his own rhythm. Watch what happens when a classmate notices his restless rhythm.

Instead of turning away or telling him to sit properly, his friend slides over to join him, offering a soft stress ball and a quiet reassurance: “If it helps you listen, you can keep moving.”

By changing how we look at “distraction,” a moment of isolation becomes a shared connection. Can we embrace the unique rhythm of every child, and focus on building spaces where feeling connected creates a rhythm of understanding?
