Good morning everyone, Anudeep here. As creative director of Anupam prayaas foundation, my job is to create animations, illustrations and design Talking Fingers Magazine. I am a proud Non-Speaking autistic who types to communicate. It’s been a year since my last post, hope you had a good year. If you’re wondering how the last year was for me, let me tell you it was the most awesome year of my life – seeing our storybooks reach young children and their positive response was really heartening. Our Anupam Prayaas family is growing and we are looking forward to the next academic year.
Today on my 25th birthday, we are sharing something very close to our hearts.
After introducing children to the Human Spectrum through our storybooks and reminding them that every mind thinks, feels, learns and communicates in its own beautiful way, we are ready to take the next step.
That step is Empathy Builder.
Empathy Builder is not just a set of scenario cards. It is a gentle journey into everyday classroom and community moments – moments children across India experience in schools, playgrounds, and homes. Moments where differences appear. Moments where understanding can grow.
Through simple, real-life situations, children learn to pause, notice, reflect, and respond with care. We call this way of responding an Anupam Response, a thoughtful choice to include, support and respect.
And now, we are bringing these moments to life through weekly one-minute animated reels. I sincerely tried my best to create good animated videos but I am still learning and request you to ignore small errors. I will get better with practice.
Empathy Builder is our shared invitation:
To move from awareness to action.
From understanding to inclusion.
From stories to everyday practice.
Transcript – This is the animated reel of scenario 1 of our Empathy Builder Scenario cards that talks about auditory sensitivity and how how to help a friend in sensory overload.
