Magical Morning of Inclusion in Pune

On 4th May, Anupam Prayaas Foundation team had the privilege of visiting APS Junior Wing, Pune, and the experience was nothing short of magical.

Our mission is to make inclusion a way of life, and seeing it resonate with 100 students from Grade 6 was deeply moving. The session was led by our storyteller, Ms. Sharanya Sriram, who brought our storybook – Anirudh’s Big Parade Day, to life. The children were completely captivated by the story and the animated screening, participating with an energy that was truly infectious.

It was a proud moment for our team to be there together, joined by our Advisor, Ms. Padma Ramani, our director, Mr. Murali Krishna and our team member, Ms.Vaishali Kulkarni. Witnessing the students engage so thoughtfully with the theme of celebrating differences reminded all of us why we started this journey.

We concluded the session with the Anupam Promise, a pledge that echoed through the room:

I celebrate differences in every person.

I listen with respect and an open heart.

I choose inclusion in my words and actions.

Together, we make inclusion a way of life.

A huge thank you to the staff at APS Junior Wing for their warm welcome and for allowing us to share this special day with their students.
