This August, we asked a simple but powerful question:
What does freedom mean to you?
Not in history books or big speeches, but in your everyday life, your body, your voice, your art.
The responses we received were beautiful, honest, and deeply moving.
Some spoke of the joy of typing your own thoughts.
Some shared the feeling of being listened to without being interrupted, fixed, or doubted.
Others painted their freedom in bright colors and bold shapes, showing what words couldn’t say.
For many, independence wasn’t about doing things alone. It was about being supported to do things your own way.
And for all of us, it was a reminder that freedom looks different for different people and that difference is something to celebrate.
We are so grateful to everyone who shared their writing, their art, and their hearts.
Thank you for showing us that freedom is not one story – it is many voices, many paths.
This edition is a quiet celebration of all the ways our community envisions freedom.
