Sahana’s Blooming Friendship Animated Story

Anupam Prayaas Foundation is honoured to share the animated story of Sahana Singaravelan, an autistic, non-speaking teenager with a deep and beautiful interest in spirituality, and the co-author of Talking Fingers Vol. 2.

Based on her lived experiences, this story gently shows what becomes possible when someone is met with patience, respect, and belief. When Sahana is welcomed into the home of her teacher, Krishnamurthy sir, and his wife, she is not just received with kindness – she is truly seen. With their support, new doors of communication begin to open, and Sahana’s inner world starts finding its way outward.

Along the way, she also builds a tender, joyful bond with his two daughters – a relationship filled with shared moments, quiet understanding, and genuine warmth. Their connection reminds us that friendship does not always need words, only openness of heart. Thanks for sharing your precious lived experience with us!

This is a story about trust, belonging, and the quiet power of human connection – about how love, patience, and belief can create bridges where silence once stood, and help a young person find her voice in her own beautiful way.
