A memorable day at Sanskriti Kids in Hyderabad

Anupam Prayaas Foundation spent a memorable day at Sanskriti Kids, Hyderabad, turning stories into powerful bridges of understanding and inclusion.

We hosted an interactive storytelling session where children immersed themselves in our storybooks, each one crafted to reflect diverse minds, communication styles, and the beautiful spectrum of neurodiversity. The excitement in their eyes and the thoughtful questions they asked showed us how ready children are to embrace differences when given the right tools.

To ensure these conversations continue, we gifted our storybooks to the school’s library. Now, every child and educator at Sanskriti Kids has access to stories that encourage empathy, curiosity, and respect for all kinds of learners.

Our team also facilitated a hands-on storytelling training for teachers, equipping them with simple, neurodivergent-friendly techniques. We explored sensory needs, learning differences, and ways to create classroom environments where autistic and neurodivergent children feel safe, understood, and included.

Awareness about autism and sensory challenges doesn’t grow through lectures, it grows through experiences, narratives, and connection. At Sanskriti Kids, we saw how storytelling can transform a classroom into a space where every voice matters and every child belongs.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Principal Ms. Priscilla Pallavi for opening her doors to this initiative, to our brilliant storyteller Ms. Rohini Jayanti for captivating young minds with every tale, and to the dedicated teachers and enthusiastic students whose warmth made this session truly unforgettable.

Together, we are not just sharing stories – we are shaping a more inclusive tomorrow.
